1. This has go to be one of the worst opening packs I've opened. Choices here are Water Servant (decent guy but dobule blue and anotehr 4cc), Celestial Purge (removal), Pyroclasm (not quite as good when people don't run so many early drops, and it kills all of red's creatures) or maybe Yav Wurm. I don't like any of these options so take a squadron hawk, as I haven't drafted a hawk deck yet and want to see if I can get anymore. I don't see this as a terrible pick due to the lack of quality Im passing.

I take cloud elemental here over the Hydra and sickness. Both are good so it epends what colours you want to end up in here. I find cloud elemental filsl an important role in the blue decks as you usually need ot take teh 2 and 3 drops higher because you always end up with lots of 4 drops. Hydra is obviously a decent guy and not a huge commitment, but I've never seen the ability be relveant. I rate the sickness of course, but I like to see that black is open before taking stuff like this (and to a lesser extent corrupt).

I've shipped the green so more inclined to take white here is possible making griffin is an easy pick here over axe and vampire. Some decks want 1 diminish but you can get these later.

Another 4/5, this time over whsipersilk cloak and disentomb.. I wasn't keepign track of my 5 drops and this was probably overkill but I just want as man black cards as possible at this stage. At the time I couldn't think of anything in my deck that really wanted a cloak, but it would have been a fine pick (2 2/1 lifelinker for a start)

I did end up wasting a few picks, and its not ideal to have to switch back and forth in the middle of packs, but I think this was bettter than trying to hard to stand by my earlier picks. It not liek I took mind control over a great g or b card and due to the way the firs tpack went I wasn't surprised to get slightly screwed pack 2.
I won this draft due to the general solidness of the deck, incremental card advantage followed by hard to deal with fatties and corrupts. In the final I curved out into this:
